In December 2018, I was feeling unhappy with my wardrobe, and I was asking myself
How do I shop ethically, accommodate my budget and feel good in my clothing?
As a researcher who focuses on data driven learning in the language classroom, I decided to break this question down into questions that could be more easily answered:
- What do I own?
- What do these items cost?
- How do I acquire these items?
- How often do I wear these items?
I decided that the best way to answer most of these questions was to track what is in my wardrobe, how much it costs and what items I wear on a daily basis. What you see here is two years of data that I have collected and analyzed. You can read more of my initial thoughts here.
This process has transformed me in many ways – I’ve made more informed choices, discovered my love of fashion and affirmed my love for data.
